Automotive manufacturing has come a long way since the Henry Ford days of the first assembly lines. Back then everything was done by human hand and each worker had one specific task that they would perform throughout the day. This was revolutionary at the time and made for much quicker production and much cheaper cars for the masses. Today the automotive industry is huge.
